Next 3 Games

As much as I want to still believe in Martinez,I fear if we don't glean a victory from the next three games,a big decision will have to be made for the good of the club, one win in sixteen games would IMHO make his position untenable.
This is no time for sentimentality from the luvvie. Show me one reason why he should be given one more match, never mind 3! Sack him now and, like Royle in 1994, the new manager will have 10 or so days to get things together (and who knows, even buy someone, although I actually don't think this is necessary).

Looking at the fixtures left I honestly can't see Martinez being with us much longer. Heres hoping he can pull somthing special out of the bag

Definitely fancy us more against the sides who will come at us than the "park the bus" sides, especially if we can keep the defence shored up.

I don't think anyone is going to batter us. Collapsing has not been our issue recently. We came back against Man City. There is no way that Liverpool are going to batter us. And the idea that because it's Stevie's last derby, the crowd and the team will just be steamrolled is even more defeatist than I've come to expect on here recently. I'm just concerned that we can't win at the moment. I actually think we do better when we go behind than when we're trying to score first. I could see us getting 2 or 3 points from these games, which is no good, is it? We need to beat Palace and then spank LFC. It will be funny to read all the doom-merchants then.

Depending on how other teams do, we could easily be looking at being in the relegation zone come mid-February.

Our next three games include Palace which are doing brilliant under Pardew, Red [Poor language removed] at home & Chelsea away.

Who's fancying our chances of a decent point haulage?

3pts. will be par for the course and given who and where we are playing a pretty good return, given the last 6 weeks

4pts. we will snatch their arm off
5pts. well somebody's been giving it severe Hail Mary's

6, 7 or 9pts..... lets face it you will see Lord Lucan and Elvis riding down County Rd on Shergar before that happens.

The Derby might actually be an ideal game for us at the minute. No real expectation to win compared to recent seasons due to our form, being a late kick off the crowd will be more hostile than usual. Hopefully the players rise to it. "Form goes out the window in the derby" as they say.

Exactly, it would be a turning point- past doesn't matter cause if u win the derby confidence is back in the dressing room
