tbf I've had a rant this morning about that idiot martinez, so sometimes it's not easy letting sleeping dogs lie. Monday can't roll round fast enough, I think we got used to a positive atmosphere around the club and the doomsayers were on the backfoot. Shame they can't put their efforts more into productive aspects surrounding Everton, but I suppose moaners are always going to moan.
…it’s a great opportunity for Thelwell and Chermiti to prove the doubters wrong, including me. The reality is, the competition is only one other club and Celtic look vulnerable to a change at the top of the league.
Thelwell has brought players in, Martin getting the flack and looks like he’s on borrowed time, maybe a new manager will get a tune out of the squad. A league where finishing 2nd is seen as failure.

….i have no real opinion on him but i did read about his very difficult upbringing.
Yeah you could be right there, I don't know the bloke behind the screen.
Maybe he needs help on that aspect, how you addresse the media can be very detrimental to your career..
But whatever his personal situation is, he should be big enough to carry some of the blame, I don't know what goes on the training ground, but he seems to build a wall between him and the fans..
