Sadly, he never reached those heights again, but to be fair, he usually put a shift in.
My question is what happened to the Chinese defender we signed at the same time? Played once, then went back to have surgery on his nose if I remember correctly. Is the waiting list that long for Everton players with the NHS as we never heard of him again....
