That's a real coup for them getting Dan Ashworth as their DoF in the summer.

He's brilliant at building football teams on small budgets.

Should be interesting how he does at the richest club on the Planet.

Going to be a interesting summer watching them spend for the next stage, they will be around 8th place next season especially with the fantastic Dan Ashworth as DoF.

They will get at least 3 new defenders, couple of midfielders, new #9 and a wide player in summer for around £200-£250 million, they won't ever be in a relegation battle ever again under PIF.

It's all about the Net spend though fella. Net spend.

I Doff my hat to you sir, you have a fantastic amount of knowledge of nearly every club in the premiership. You know how clubs are run financially and football wise, fair play to you. You don’t seem like the normal run of the mill fan, who sits behind a computer, searching the internet for information, so it’s good for us to know, for instance, who NUFC are going to buy in the summer and to top it off, how much they are going to spend. You are wasted on this forum mate. Tres Bien.

Well it's a choice isnt it? They are awful signings long term. Let's see if in the 2nd window they change direction and do it differently.

They will try to go big. But if they go big, buying championship/bottom half premiership reserves, they are not going to improve much.
think they are just short term fixes to keep them up .Seems to be working. The money they have spent is peanuts to them
