Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Villa and Everton have never been the most fashionable clubs. You lot playing second fiddle to your neighbours for the most part of the last 60 years and us being a Midlands club, it’s just not fashionable. At the start of the premier league in 92 you’d have got laughed out of the room if you said Newcastle were a bigger club than villa or Everton. Things have changed for some reason and I have no clue why as they have won nothing during that time and have been relegated twice. I personally think they will struggle to break the monopoly and it’s not as clear cut as they think.

sky will probably start referring to it as the big 7 if they do push the top 6 even though Leicester have been doing that for the last few years but don’t get the media acknowledgment they deserve.
Pre 1971 Everton were seen as the bigger Merseyside club, up until around that infamous 1971 FA Cup semi final. As Howard Kendall said, after that the rs started to be seen as the bigger club by outsiders, and it's been that way ever since sadly. That defeat along with going out of the European Cup a few days earlier, was the straw that broke that great late 60's Everton teams back.

Wait, how can a country buy a club. On catching up on this

Honestly only looking at stuff now. Can anyone give me a synopsis. Newcastle got bought. They keep mentioning on sky ifnits found arabia is running tlit.they get kicked out the league. Etc.. all sounds dodge

Being bought out is one thing. What's on the pitch for the rest of the season is another thing altogether. Next game: Spurs(h). Not an easy one...
