Tony Evans the weary Kopite flute had them convinced it was ‘back on’ today, after a piece he wrote in the Independent, which when you actually read it, in true Evans style, offered absolutely no news or actual worthwhile insight. However, they still seemed to like it.

They're the ones in front of the ivory tower that the FA sit in lording it over every day folk like the Saudi prince.
 
MUst be into month 5 since the takeover was allegedly agreed. Are any of the Goerdies able to decipher the wood from the trees yet. That the buyers don't have loads of money, and would probably be worse than Ashley even if it went through? Or are they still deluding themselves they are going to get a takeover with as much investmnt as us, City and Chelsea?

They’re still firmly convinced that they’re days from becoming the new PSG.

They’ve only ever looked at the entire value of the Saudi PIF and convinced themselves that they were going to spend massively irrespective of a return. An investment fund, seeking to spunk cash without a thought of a ROI, yeah that happens every day.
