Hang on a minute, haven't Everton been financed (albeit poorly) by an oligarch, one of Putin's mates? Hardly owned by Mother Theresa. lol FFP is utter rubbish anyways, I'm all for the "financial doping" if it means upsetting the entitled 6. Is there any other business sector in the world where you're actually not allowed to finance and grow your company, because other companies might suffer? Has FFP really stopped clubs winding up in this country?

Bit different that directly being owned by Putin or the Russian state though, isn’t it? I’m not sure Usmanov has been personally ordering any war crimes or mass executions

Issue is taking a moral high ground.

Uzmanov laundered his money to sponsor the training ground and naming rights to the new stadium, to which we've apparently got another sponsor on the same deal. Our owner has pumped a chunk of his own fortune very badly.

Usmanov is also long gone and not coming back

Your lot try to make excuses for it. Said before, just own the fact you have dubious owners and skirt round what you can and enjoy the ride.

Same with City fans. Just own the fact you've broken every financial rule under the sun to get where you are.

I think you will find that we are the club being investigated for financial issues.

Got a mate who goes to the occasional game at St James. Always says the atmosphere is surprisingly gash and the fans aren’t even that arsed about the game.

Built up frustration over decades.

They're 'officially' up their with Arsenal, City, United now even though they've always thought it.

They're the kids that got bullied at school that are not looking for payback
 
Newcastle fans - “we are actually being successful and playing nice football and are on the up.

But let’s not think about that and just celebrate our own success and instead spout a load of vitriol towards another group of fans who are dealing with difficulties that we ourselves went through in the not so distant past”

While all the time, both sets of fans are being extorted to scrimp and save just to follow the team during a cost of living crisis when fans just want an escape from every day life but have to deal with fake rivalries aimed to put each other down.
