We didn’t have a board, we had an owner in Ashley and he employed yes men with a strict remit of doing enough to finish above 18th. It didn’t always work.

The structure of the club was almost non existent under Ashley.

You dont think the employees are currently yes men now?

I mean...mess up with Ashley and get sacked.

These Saudi Arabia FC fans seem to be on a crusade online, quiet as mice for upteenth seasons where they were a nothing club more famous for being relegated an punching horses, now they are a blood soaked sports wash club who's supporter base has lost it's moral compass who actually support state executions and jailing women for speaking out on Twitter against the lack of women rights. They are signing up to all sorts of club fan forums, it seems to be coordinated, also bragging on Soccer Reddit about how much money they have and how they'll dominate the PL and taking over newspaper articles comments defending their heinous ownership.

Just think how worse they'll be when they get their bloody tainted hands on trophies.

Or, their imprisonment and torturing of minors, before retrialling them at 18 and sentencing them to death for crimes committed as children?

Worth it for top 4 and maybe a league cup?

Perhaps if the UK government took as robust approach to crime as the Saudi government do there would not be so many children being shot or stabbed to death on the streets of Liverpool, Newcastle, Manchester etc.
