But now its rumoured that they are attempting to hijack the Baines deal now. You watch just as we are about to walk into the Kirkby Project those [Poor language removed] Geordies will already be in there.

Win some [Poor language removed] trophies first you bunch of freaks!!! ;)
 
What really blows my mind is that you'd think by now, players would have seen what happens when you take the money at Newcastle vs. the opportunity to play and to play in Europe with Everton.

Go ask Parker, Emre, Bellamy, etc... how that worked out.

At the end of the day, if a player can't see the benefits of playing for Everton and the supporters we have, then I guess I really didn't want him here to begin with.

devils advocate but...

supporters.. they get 55,000 every home game.

opportunity to play in europe with everton... well blink and you miss it from experience, but sure they should want to play in europe to further their career experience.

there is a new regime there and a feel good factor about the club.

they also get 20k more a week in wages.

we should not be too surprised they trump us again and again.

annoying as it is.

You can,t blame them ghost we were in the driving seat but kenwright [Poor language removed] up there must be something wrong at our place if we are in europe and people like smith don,t want to know.
Even people who love kenwright on here have got to be a little worried about the finances surely.
 
What's interesting about that link is that we are ahead of West Ham, but we can't compete with them in the transfer market.

Well I am, but I know that what Kenwright lacks in financial sense he makes up with enthusiasm, but I do hate the fact that he remains silent until we make a big signing or beat one of the big 4.

I do have a feeling though that the best move we can make is get out of Goodison and start attracting the benefits that a new stadium can bring. Then I fully expect us to have the American factor in place.

Well reading between the lines it is all setup.

Earl comes on board, when he initially wasn't going to. He isn't going to sit on the board as a pure advisor, he is going to want to earn from it, and I hope he does - but by turning the club into the club we all want to see.
 
What annoys me is that the media portray their fans as being the most loyal and passionate in the entire world.

It wasnt so long ago that they were drawing crowds of only 13 thousand before Keegan signed up.

Their fans believe they have a devine right to win something as they have had no success for over FIFTY years.They are no more passionate than that of any other premier league club. This summer their season tickets are on general sale for christ sake!!! not bad for a club who had an alleged waiting list of 35thousand a few years ago.

Anyone else witnessed their ardent/loyal/passionate support from the away end in the Mecca? Its embarrsing, their ground is like a maccano set and their players are all money grabbing mercenaries.

I hope they continue to pay over inflated fees and wages and eventually go bust. I for one couldnt stand it if they ever lifted silver ware.

I hate Newcastle, their fans are bad deluded fools who think Newcastle are a power in English footie.

Telling them that Sunderland has won more league titles than them usually does the trick.
