Newcastle fans Vs Mike Ashley

It's fairly easy to understand. West Ham and Newcastle have the biggest fanbase in PL, outside of the top 6, whilst they boast regular attendances over 50k week in week out. Revenue wise, West Ham earn most after the top 6 and few years before Spurs' rise, West Ham and Spurs had similar revenues. Clubs like Newcastle and West Ham, are not being run effectively top to bottom, which is why they have been underachieving for many years.
I don’t think that anyone actually considers a club that fights off relegation every other season, have a fanbase stuck in the dark days of football and only have a brand new (and utterly unfit for purpose) stadium through a dodgy deal a big club. Maybe they are something in business terms but in actual footballing terms West Ham are a laughing stock.

Newcastle get them attendances because they are the only club in a city. If we didn't have our lovely neighbours we'd pull exactly the same amount (stadium permitting of course).

That wikipedia page also says Leicester and West Ham are a bigger club than Napoli. Someone should tell them so they can take Mertens, Insigne, Allan and Koulibaly off them because they'd love to play for them massive clubs like Leicester and West Ham instead of challenging for Serie A and playing in the Champions League. That list means so little.

The love in geordies have for Rafael is amusing. He has them down near the relegation zone. They have won just two league games so far.Alan Pardew used to have them in upper mid table, yet he would get dogs abuse. It's weird.

I really think it's completely down to Rafael's history with the RS/Champions League. Definetly amusing considering the gulf in quality between the Newcastle and the RS squad which came from behind on that oh so famous night.

When was the last time they took up their full away allocation at Goodison? This media fantasy of of a Toon Army usually represents in my experience a rag tag bunch of old blokes with an Elizabeth Duke earring the size of a curtain hoop obsessed with taking their top off whilst trying to look cool in a bizarre stonewashed jean and denim jacket combo.

This love in with the Waiter is even weirder. Deserve each other in my book. If it’s not this year, it’ll be the next and they can get on with bothering Villa again for laughing at them when they went first time round. I reckon Ashley wants rid of them quicker than his Debenhams gift cards.
