Cons: Work email always on, Cheapest Handset is £200

So do I get one and which one

Choices are

Apple - iPhone 4:

16Gb or 32gb

Nokia:

C5, E5. C7, N8, E7

Any Advice is much appreciated .. thanks

HTC one for me. It's ace.

iPhone4 is the most expensive and honestly is not that great. It's not bad, but overhyped to death. I'd suggest actually trying an iPhone first before listening to the hype. I did, and I'm glad I did.

Whatever you do, avoid the Blackberry Torch. It's gash.

I don't know about 4g in the UK right now, but I'd get a phone that supports it. It can take the place of your home internet.

If you're tech savvy, get a phone that you can "root" as you can then tether your home network (or mobile hotspot it) for free. I still have my home broadband, but when I'm on the road/at the little lady's pad, I can connect to some very fast internet from my laptop/her desktop.

I'm not sure if you're able to do that with an iphone....I'm sort of anti apple and like to do everything possible for free.
Its quite easy to do with HTC phones, though.

Whatever you do, don't buy a Blackberry at the moment. Can't say one good thing about them, I have a Bold (work) and wife has a Torch, they're junk.

My Blackberry Torch is ace you bad teds. It was free on a £16.50 a month contract. I am a poor student so I'm well happy with it (y)
