come on Jeff, show us the money and get that documentary on the go

A nice balanced squad blend of of youth and those playing in their pime
For Fcuk Stake will be on some shirts.
One way for Blue Bill to put a stake into the club

If we regress to a betting company it would be nearly as embarrassing and demoralising to me as relegation would have been.

Come on mate let’s not get carried away. Would I prefer it not to be a betting company? Of course

But if the club only received offers from betting companies then it might be something we need to accept. Obviously gambling is a problem but so are all sorts of things like drinking and even an emerging addiction for young people on social media and technology so we need to understand that many of the big industries will generally have negative impacts on some people.

I wish the morons in charge hadn't banned alcohol companies from shirt sponsorship.
"Oooo promoting booze is a terrible thing, we are so above this we are practically levitating in our own self righteousness ... Look at me, Look at me, LOOK AT ME!!!"

At a guess more than 60% of our fan base enjoys a beer or 2 b4, during and after tne game, and being one of the clubs with fewer arrests it's not like its some major issue at the ground.
Yet like proabition in the US a hundred years or so ago Liberal namby pamby do gooders prostate themselves forward hand wring bemoaning, "won't somebody think of the children".

Like any kid will suddenly see beer on a shirt and go, hmmm I fancy a pint. Most kids are introduced to beer in football by going the match and enjoying there dad's/family/friends interactions and I dare say a sneaky tipple or two b4 the age of 18. It's a much better way to learn about drink than getting bladdered in the park with your mates, which they still do but have a better understanding of alcohol than the uninitiated.
European nights of football let down by not serving alcohol in any ground, despite the fact that most people in their are already enjoying the warming embrace of a beer or 3...

We shouldn't bury our heads in the sand any longer, beer companies have loads of cash to spend on advertising, why not boot the pretentious notion that we are above drinking, and just accept its part of our culture. Let's grab some beer-shirt booty as long as its not that, 'probably the worst lager in the world' shoite.

A couple of weeks ago, our (allegedly) 'revered' CEO advised that new shirts sponsors were ready to be announced.

Understandably, that announcement was held in abeyance until such time as to which decision we would be playing in was confirmed.

That was concluded a week ago... have we heard anything from our 'revered' CEO - not a jot.
Surely the new shirt sponsor would have been wanting to be announced ASAP so as to gain maximum publicity on the back of the club riding high in the media as a result of the Palace game and crowd scenes ???

Makes me wonder if the 'new sponsor to be announced' was just a figment of her imagination.

Whatever it is mate they need to get their finger out - coming upto summer hols, no shirts released or on sale, sponsors are seriously lacking around the club due to the, at least publicly, cutting of ties to USM etc.

The club need to work harder at bringing in sponsorship, credible sponsors and getting sales for merchandise as soon as possible.

Its Everton tho.. we will release it all on the first day of the season

I'd be extremely disappointed if its a betting firm

Id like to say I would be shocked, but its Everton.

The grandeur of getting rid of Sportpesa - the reasons that where given where a stretch though tax issues, mafia owned etc, however it would be a serious error by DBB after her strongly worded reasoning of the cutting of ties.

I would say I would be shocked if it was a betting firm, but I won't be.

Inappropriate Language
Does any club have a cool sponsor anywhere on their shirt? I mean, visit Rwanda, get a bank account at Standard Chartered, buy a [Poor language removed] car from Chevrolet, be an Angry Bird, none of those are things that I would ever wear willingly.

I never buy a replica shirt or any other merchandise because of all the stupid advertising splashed across it so, unless it's Carhartt perhaps, I won't be getting involved.

That revered that she is still looking for new opportunities where her pending career change was first socialised back in February. Roll forward almost four months and nothing.

A CEO with one eye on the exit door can’t be solely focused on the job in hand.

And especially so given our 'revered' CEO stood up at the last AGM ( that shareholders were able to attend) and said that ideally betting companies shouldn't be sponsors as their activities conflict with many of the initiatives that EitC work with in trying to help people adversely affected by gambling related issues.
