Choice quote time. Interestingly the authors of the paper cited offer the following conclusion:

"Given the likelihood that SARS-CoV-2 will continue to mutate and might remain a threat for years if not decades, leading to the emergence of variants or subvariants that might be more immune-evasive, and given that reinfections are occurring and might continue to occur due to these emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants at scale in many countries across the globe, and given that reinfection contributes nontrivial health risk both in the acute and postacute phases, a strategy that would result in vaccines that are more durable, cover a broad array of variants (variant-proof vaccine strategy), reduce transmission (and subsequently reduce the risk of infection and reinfection) and reduce both acute and long-term consequences in people who get infected or reinfected is urgently needed"

So rather than rejection of the efficacy of vaccines per se, they intimate the changeable nature of the virus is the issue.

So. Whose take shall we put our faith in? Ivermectin man with a clear agenda, or the considered thoughts of the article authors?

Answers on a postcard...

No, the choice quote clearly states we need better vaccines...because the ones we have don't work so good.

we're in a brutal minority on here, degsy.

but as long as we have the freedom to choose i guess there's not much else to say on it.
Most people decided (correctly IMO) to have the first two injections.
Some people, strangely, decided to have none (also correct IMO) their choice after all...off you go, you pays your money and takes your chances.

What really boils my piss is the way that total and partial none vaxxers were...and still are penalised by losing their jobs - and here in Australia still can't go back to their jobs!

are we that well off for Doctors, nurses, policemen, firemen??

Nah sorry mate, you can't cut me out of my burning car you've not been jabbed, I mean I could catch a headache, fever and runny nose off you...wt actual f, etc.

We were 'Following the Science' - yeah right
Only when it suits you

Follow the Science on 6ft 2in males who have gone through puberty swimming in girls races then.

Koff.

ends rant.

Gonna be honest, if a doctor or nurse lost their job because they didn't want to be vaccinated, I'm not sure being in a medical profession is best for them. If they don't trust science they're not intelligent enough to stay in the profession. I wouldn't want one practicing on me.

There is no longer any requirement for anyone in WA to be vaccinated, so it is definitely not all of Australia
