This is probably the first major dip in his time here. Are we not allowing him the 3 seasons that Martinez got? What happened to all the patient fans of yesteryear?

agree to an extent, but that performance really felt like the players did not want to play for him...this was worse than tactical mistakes or picking the wrong personal, i get the feeling he has given up a bit after not getting a striker..hence him mentioning he is to blame in post match interview

he has to have a few games to turn it around, but a lost dressing room is one circumstance where acting quickly is justified

Perhaps, but in theory he's not out of anything yet, imagine we suddenly start pulling together, all we've thrown away are some of the hardest away games in the league and a tough group game in the Europa. It doesn't look great now admittedly but how many times under Moyes did we start like utter toilet, go out of everything, then in Jan start playing decent stuff and finish up in Europe or in latter stages of the FA cup. Different times yes but the first step is blaming himself which Koeman has finally done. Maybe now we'll see a bit of a reaction.

absolutely, give him a good few games at least

If anyone expected us to beat Chelsea away, Spurs and Atalanta away they are a bit silly.
However, nobody expected us to perform as badly as we did.
This is crunch time for Koeman. Sunday has to be a performance whether we win lose or draw and then we have to beat the Cypriots, Sunderland in the league cup and win our easier coming PL fixtures.
If we don't start winning after Sunday then questions need to be asked.
So far the only must win games (the qualifiers and Stoke at home) have been won.

In next 7 games up until Arsenal at home, we need to be winning 5 of those games. I will give Koeman until Arsenal at home.

If he has bought these players (instead of Walsh) and intentionally chosen to rid our side of pace then on his head be it.

Can someone tell me what Giroud or Benteke would add to this pedestrian team? Very little. Both would make us even slower!!!

Would we go British or foreign again?

Not many British managers that inspire confidence and I couldn't see us going for a young manager from the lower leagues like Paul Hurst or Danny Cowley as it too big a leap I would imagine. All a bit depressing really.

Totally agree. Its been a hard start but I was hoping for us to look at least like we wanted to play. Performances need to get better fast otherwise its time for Unsworth to step up....although Wenger will be free soon. hahaha

I think we definitely have to give him 3 years, we're not Crystal Palace, Sunderland, West Ham, Birmingham or any of those.

HOWEVER, it would be interesting to see who are our next possible managers? Just to see who's on the horizon

Exciting? Tuchel
Young risky: Eddie Howe
Exciting risky Unsworth
