What the bloody hell is this??????????????

Marco Alexandre Saraiva da Silva (born 12 July 1977) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a right back, and the current head coach of Premier League club Watford.

His career was mainly associated to Estoril, as a player and manager. He also coached Sporting for one season, winning the 2015 Portuguese Cup.

On 8 July 2015, Silva was appointed the successor of countryman Vítor Pereira at Olympiacos FC, signing on a two-year contract.[21] His first competitive game occurred in the season opener in the Superleague Greece, won 3–0 against Panionios FC. On 17 September, he played his first UEFA Champions League match with his new club, losing 0–3 at home to FC Bayern Munich.[22]

Silva subsequently guided the team to break the record of 11 consecutive league wins from the first matchday,[23][24] also recording a 3–2 success at Arsenal in the Champions League group stage.[25] The Piraeus side's run of domestic wins ended at 17, a European record in the 21st century,[26] but they nonetheless won a record 43rd title with six games remaining.[27]

Silva quit his job on 23 June 2016, alleging personal reasons.[28]

Hull were bottom of the table and three points from safety when former Sporting Lisbon and Olympiakos boss Silva took charge on 5 January.

Fast forward four weeks and the Tigers have a win over Liverpool and a draw at Manchester United, as well as an EFL Cup semi-final home win over United under their belt.

Hull are an organised and well-drilled unit at the back while the arrival of N'Diaye, as well as Poland winger Kamil Grosicki, has provided them with an added threat.

They overcame the loss of captain Michael Dawson, who was injured in the warm-up, to produce their most complete performance so far under Silva.

Hull are 18th in the table - one point from safety - and now have seven points from a possible 12 under Silva's reign.

They got relegated.

“We are happy with the manager he is a good guy,” said Abdoulaye Doucoure, scorer of the first goal. “He pushes everyone to be on the top. He is very honest, very just.”

Doucoure is something of an unlikely star of Silva’s side as the ex-Rennes and Granada midfielder’s future at the club looked bleak last season under Walter Mazzarri.

“We won the battle of the midfield. You win every challenge, you fight for the second ball, you are everywhere and the game starts in the middle,” said the Frenchman. “We have very good commitment between us. It is good and we have to keep going like that.”

Listening to Doucoure, it is easy to see the mentality and confidence instilled by Silva rubbing off on his players and ambitions are high among the Watford squad.

The turnover of players and managers at Watford has been prohibitive to development over recent seasons so perhaps most impressive about Silva’s achievements so far is the way the Portuguese has integrated his new players and a new philosophy in such a short space of time.

“It’s a very good sign to me as it is not easy,” said Silva. “You don’t have time to gel everything like you want and for them to understand each other. It is what you want to do. We need our time but I’m happy with what we’ve done now.

“It is clear to me – it is a matter of mentality. You try to do everything well during the week.

“Football is about mentality and wanting to win,” added the former Hull manager.
