New Kits Thread

To be serious for a moment, MUFC and Nike have clearly put the interests of the sponsor ahead of the interests of the team in making this choice. Maybe the shirt looks better in person or in action, but at first glance it's truly terrible.

I don't even know why GM thought it would be a good idea to cough up the millions required to put Chevy on Man Utd's shirt. They already have Vauxhall in the UK and Opel in the rest of the continent.

Oh yeah, and the kit looks terrible, too.

Other than the sponsor is it really that bad?

I don't like it--"I find it objectionable on almost every level." Without boring/harrassing you with all the details, I don't like it for design, personal, and cultural reasons. Still, it probably looks better in the full kit than as a shirt by itself, and first impressions can be wrong. It might turn out not to be as terrible as first glance suggests.

Bolton home

Fulham home

Hibernian home

Aston Villa away

Having looked at the new Fulham shirt I'm kind of glad that they are no longer in the Premier League. Hopefully if they return next season they will have a nicer shirt.

Some of the sponsors look shocking, I'm really glad our Chang is a simple white logo with lettering

It would look horrible if we had something like this plastered on the front of our shirts..

Marathon Bet, Dafabet. How can all of these bookies keep in business? It's as if a new one starts every week! Seems like betting is going through a massive boom at the moment. My mate's teenage brothers are hooked on it. Can't believe how many adverts are betting related and how many bookies occupy the high street now.

Gambling typically escalates when the economy's in the toilet...
