Yes it is worse on:

Where is he?

kckrs just took notice of it http://www.kckrs.com/evertons-new-gk-shirt-may-give-you-nam-flashbacks/

thoughts... possible social commentary from french le coq by putting the american in a military-looking shirt?

if it does have any kind of camo effect, it would make it harder for a striker to place shots around him

i also wonder if they're trying to market to the american demographic, a lot of people in the south still wear camo, and as undoubtedly most american keepers look up to tim howard, it might sell well with them... or at least it might if we didn't have to pay 20£ for shipping

in truth i'm sure none of these are true, and they probably just designed a strange looking goalie shirt for the hell of it, but as long as timmy is okay with it its fine with me

Howard is a yank, they love this Camo-GI Joe stuff.

We just need to buy N'Zogbia so he can pretend he's in Nam, shouting about this "Charlie" being everywhere...

Generally speaking, soccer fans in the south USofA are not the camo wearing type.

I think it is hideous.

you'd be surprised. a lot of southerners i know love football, but still embrace their redneck roots out of heritage. two of the ones i have in mind happen to also be goalkeepers

I like the new home kit and I dont mind the goalkeeper kit, its still green and just a bit different.

I know some other sports teams have worn camo in the past, to raise money for the armed forces, like Warrington Wolves sold a kit earlier in the year which was camo and £5 from every kit went to Help For Hero's.

Perhaps if we did that with the Goalie kits, we would sell a load more and raise money for charity?
