The pre-season friendly they have booked will go ahead, simply because it needs to as the third test event

If I understand correctly the third ( and final) test event is to be with the ground fully open and as close to capacity as they can get .?
If the ground is not ready then the test event cannot take place and will have to be postponed.
If it goes ahead as planned then ( subject to passing the test ) the ground will be ready for the start of the season .
