New Everton Stadium


Doesn't appear to be any news on the sponsorship but perhaps with safety confirmed we might hear something.

If TFG were hoping to haggle for an extra 10% on the value, it may not be the best time for stuff like this with the economic uncertainty. This is very low-hanging fruit for any organisation needing to cut budgets.

My feeling is that they will wait until into next season, and who knows after that.

Now perhaps a lay period on the stadium. Preparations for the farewell to Goodison with shift the collective focus now. Cosmetic additions and customisation of the interior and exterior to take place. Looking forwards to seeing how a "true" Everton identity is stamped on it. Dunno how many members have been lucky enough to wander around it. Personally internet images, drone footage and news reports don't do it justice... being ground level in it is breathtaking. I can only compare it to approaching one of the two cathedrals in the city- the sense of scale is incredible.
