I am constantly hearing comments from red’s like its ridiculous it was put there traffic nightmare, why would the big acts abandon Anfield etc…all throw away comments but put it together, they know the new ground is a big deal. They are furious no doubt about it, They could win the PL the CL both domestic cups the world club championship , have a player win the ballon d'or with others coming 2nd and 3rd another player win the Puskas with others coming 2nd and 3rd, Golden boot, golden gloves you name any award they could win it all, but if Everton finished 8th and our fans were happy about qualifying for the conference league their whole season would be ruined.
Bill threw a bit of blue gravel around and the seals lapped it up.Found out the other day that after Moshiri bought the club, his team invested a serious amount in the maintenance and slight redevelopment of Goodison park.
The blue cladding and and park end tower lifts didn't touch the sides apparently.
Can't believe Bill Kenwright let it get to that point.
I must agree with Dave on this, yes of course the league is still far more prestigious trophy but surely anyone can see the actual standard of the top 4 has dropped like a stone this season, Man City who have dominated the last five years have been unrecognizable for most of this season. Arsenal have been awful and for the large part rely on corners to win games. Chelsea are rebuilding and totally inconsistent, the actual standard of football has not been anywhere near as good as in previous years.
The standard has dropped. That's the case being made, and with good reason. You can only beat what's put in front of you. They've won three league at a Canter because they've been the best team in the league over 38 rounds. Its not their fault the other teams haven't been at it. They've been better, full stop. They are currently the standard we aim for, until next year if somebody is better, then that becomes the standard. This ground is hopefully the first step in us making the progress to get us to the position of exceeding the current standard and setting our own.
Concourse is looking a bit dishevelled there - looks like someone's been doing a hastey u-turn.

I thought at first it was tracks, but looking more closely it's obviously some rubber off the wheels of a small vehicle.…I’d wonder if they were old dock rail track but it looks a tight turn for that.
