Slight curve of lower truss line can be more structurally efficient. Greater strength for less material.

it may be to cope with high winds over the top, low pressure over the roof, higher pressure underneath, just as the top will be bowed to resist gravity, the lower section could be bowed to resist wind pressures lifting the roof structure
