Atmosphere has been decent on the whole I think. Last night was terrible though – you could tell how half arsed it was from before kick off. Think we were all just a bit sleepy really

To be fair I think this needs to be communicated a bit better to fans. Whilst I've been trying to keep up with all the stadium discussion, as it was my first visit (Mansfield) I wasn't really sure what to expect from each section. I ended up with tickets in the lower south, in the end my dad couldn't come and I had a mate take his ticket. But it wouldn't have been ideal if he had to stand all game.Yes. People in what is basically safe standing not wanting to stand. They have zero self awareness and took the seats from those who would.
The people with the longer tenures got first choice, so a lot of older folk from the bullens road and goodison road stands have gone there. Maybe they will move next season?
Did they tape your mouth shut ? If not you can still vocally support a team without needing to stand up. I think they do seemingly tape up the gobs of many of those in the safe standing section.
I live in South Liverpool so have been getting the train direct to and from for night games. It's been pretty effective so far, but was packed going home. Tried the shuttle bus to town for the Brighton game. Even though i waited for almost 1 hr in the ground afterwards..... it was still gridlocked and I got off by Costco to walk, as I was going the pub anyway. Wife said it took almost 1 hr to get to Liverpool One. So that needs seriously addressing with proper bus lanes all the way and priority at the lights. Hopefully that comes in the next few years. The vast majority seem to be walking quite long distances. Ok while the novelty is still there and the weather has not been too bad.....?How did people find getting home last night? Be interesting to see how much quicker or slower it was than Goodison. Will have a big impact on attendances in years to come.
managed to get it, nice one la
Don't give Kinnear ideas...Oxygen more like
honest to god, these tramps do me headMy biggest gripe is the venues around it. Just want somewhere I can have a pint and talk with my mates. Not some Jonhead on a guitar blaring down my ears.
Haha. If people like it sound, a few venues catering to that is great but it’s every single venue. You can’t hear yourself think.honest to god, these tramps do me head
Ah cr4p, I'll ditch me banjo then.honest to god, these tramps do me head
Please do a bit of singing & not just sit in silence.I'm generally an "armchair fan" so don't feel fully qualified to comment on "atmosphere", but I'll do it anyway. I've attended loads of quiet matches at Goodison when we're playing badly, so is it really surprising when the same thing happens at the new stadium?
It's the same people, watching the same dodgy team!
I'm going for the first time on Sunday... I HONESTLY CANNOT WAIT!
Sorry mate. It was sent via WhatsApp. I did have a look to try and figure out how to send via a file. Sorry about thatmanaged to get it, nice one la
