New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Why are the club keeping people away from the west stand wharf on non-match days?

That's a scandal. There's no work going on out there and its still inaccessible.

Nice article about someone on BBC buying a ticket off Seatsnet for the Villa game, ended up being a ClubView Seat, and it cost them £120 (less than youd pay with seat unique).

But my initial thoughts were, would this have happened if people could transfer to friends and family etc outside of a set few?
Yep who needs membership anyway

This digital-only tickets thing seems to have made touting worse, in some respects.

Like they say in the article, these are overseas operations. Anyone in the world can purchase a digital ticket and instantly send it to you.

Now instead of some flat in Bolton you can raid, it's a distributed operation in any number of jurisdictions.

Might get too many people wanting to have a good look and take photos but not paying for the privilege unlike the stadium tours?
That'll be part of the strategy.

The stadium tours dont even do the west stand wharf.

If they want to attract people also with non-tour visits to the Everton Store and that Trinity Cafe they'll need to make them a bit livelier and less foreboding.

They look and feel like a couple of grottos.

The continued denial of fans to the river side of their own stadium (and it is THEIR stadium too as they'll be paying for it) is shocking.

Came here to post that same article.

You just know for the big games there will be trouble especially in those hospitality areas. I still have doubts how segregation will work at the north entrance.

Like Ticketmaster etc these companies/clubs don't care enough about bots and whose hands the digital tickets fall into as long as they are getting paid beforehand.

I bet if they started losing money or being fined large amounts by a regulator, sophisticated systems would be put in place to stop if from happening and keep their pockets full.

Same way they handle it at Chelsea I'd imagine.

Cheers. I thought that would be the case. I'll literally have a spare t shirt and underwear in there and probably a book for the train so hopefully no issues.
If you don’t want to risk it, or if you get turned away, that Ten Streets Social offer a bag drop off service. Never used it, so no idea what it’s like or what it costs etc. 🤷‍♂️
