Those excuses by the club are very concerning - and so is the plan ahead to tackle them.

Basically they're stating that most of the issues are related to the ticketing regime they insist on and they're not going to change: an insistence on digital ticketing for all but a fraction of people. Then they're blaming away clubs (in this case Mansfield) for not being able to distribute tickets before the game...which will be an ongoing issue for all away supporters presumably.

At least they admit that they need to train their own staff up better. They're shocking.

That's good to hear that those issues are recognised and being addressed.

Really, it's pretty amazing that things have gone as smoothly as they have so far. You can't model everything - especially not 50,000+ fans' behaviour in a brand new ground. There were always going to be teething problems.

Those places are going to lead to carnage. Bouncers on gates and tens of thousands of fans = a recipe for disaster.

They'll have the capacity to be funding Reform UK candidates all round Liverpool, btw. LCC are right to be on its case. It sounds like the licensing committee and coppers have blundered big time here.

I sense a national scandal all too soon.

Will be interesting seeing goodisn stripped back to it's "normal state". Hopefully, the women's team can redevelope it properly, rather than just covering as much of it as possible.

I've never had an issue with the feller. I know others have and that's their business. But if he's a cheerleader for that place, that's when my criticism of him starts.

I doubt very much they could keep the Everton Way closed for a home game on Saturday.
