Got to say, I'm not that impressed with the Everton stadium staff/fan services in general. Heard loads of crazy stories on here, where it sounds like they just don't care and witnessed a few as well.
During the Roma game, I heard a woman ask the steward if there were any escalators at the South West corner (we were at the top of the stairs on the concourse). He just said "I don't know. We're figuring this out just like you are".
Fella I work with said his mate offered him 2 tickets for last night's game but was having trouble transferring them to him. He phoned the club who said he couldn't do it. When he said "you're going to end up with empty seats", they basically responded with "it is what it is".
My mate tried to get a pint from the self-serve shop last night, just as they were kicking off for the second half. He scanned his card on the barrier and got in. He walked over to the counter that was full of pre-poured pints and asked for 2, but was told he couldn't have them as they were no longer serving alcohol. They also switched off all the e-bars.
I know these are mostly teething issues, but it does seem like they haven't been trained and are being a bit arsey about stuff.
