New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

It's graffiti as far as I'm concerned.

It's gone way too far at that stadium.

It looks to me like it's stadium where some outfit called Hill Dickinson FC play their football.

A knife to the heart for those who treasure the club as a cultural institution.
You know what I agree - unless you were an Everton fan or a diehard football fan you wouldn’t know what it is

Brand identity and recognition is a big thing and we’ve got none of it on our own ground

And it looks crap

Acceptable

Unacceptable...

I like how you've omitted to two giant club crests on either side of the East Stand. Agree in the main though, would like more blue/EFC iconography throughout, but we have just moved in like.

The Hill Dickinson looks coherent and classy, the others look a mess. The building speaks for itself, no need to shout Everton. Anyone who doesn’t know it’s Everton’s has been living on mars

For most people it'll look like Hill Dickinson's regional office.

It's an obscene imbalance between 'brands'.

This law firm are nothing. A nothing cultural entity. But now they have a profile higher than Everton's.

The owners and administrators of this club are 'kin stupid.

no idea mate 😂 ask marie who runs it

i don’t drink in there as i don’t drink

I was just surprised it wasn't at half mast and '20' plastered all over the car park.

WTF has happened to Huyton. Seen a fair few Liverpool flags and Union 'kin Jacks on poles in people's gardens.

Used to be loads of blues years ago and decent people not nazis.

Shocked.

Nobody is going to confuse a state of the art modern football stadium for the regional office of a nothing law firm.

"OUR FIRST HOME GAME

Over the summer we have been working with the club regarding a flag display for our first ever competitive game at our new home vs Brighton on Sunday.

We both felt it was important to make it feel like ‘Home’ for the players and manger when they first walk out the tunnel from day one & give them a familiar kind of sight that they have become used to over the past few seasons.

In honour of this commemorative occasion, the club are providing flags on every home seat in the stadium. These flags will make up 3 tifo displays in the South, East and North stands of the ground and also flags in the West Stand. Both ourselves and the club are asking all fans to wave their flags at the start of the siren until after the players line up so the display is clear.

These flags are from the club as a keep sake/momento from the game and occasion which fans can take home. UP THE TOFFEES"

Like the last home game at goodison with the scalfs does anyone get anxious someone is going to take yours before you get to your seat?

To be fair Dave, it does have the word “Stadium” in big massive letters, as opposed to the words “Hill Dickinson Regional Office”.

If people assumed that building to be a regional office, then they’ve likely got bigger problems in life, like tying their shoelaces.

Most people, almost everyone on the planet, know it’s a football stadium. A hulking, iconic, Scouse stadium that blends tradition and modernity built in the image of and by Everton

That defines it and we don’t need to plaster it with Everton - let the stadium speak for us. The addition of a naming partner is done sympathetically to the design of the building

That law firm has history in the city that predates Everton, employes +1000 people in the city and has historic links to the club. Preferable to Emirates / Etihad / various global blue chip - we literally couldn’t have chose a partner more connected to the city or to the location of our new home

The owners / administrators of the club have played a blinder with this one
