New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

This article appears to be in response to The Observer's ignorant piece trying to link the stadium's construction to the loss of the city's UNESCO World Heritage status. Hunter makes an effort to acknowledge the draw which the stadium represents as opposed to the former dock. I was also pleased to learn that the club will be trying to sell tours on incoming cruise ships in the near future, which can only serve to drive up revenue from the new stadium.

Sky Sports will be only too willing to share the Kopite's 'joke' with the rest of the world too.

Hopefully it's wrecked.

The Anfield Wrap.

Bunch of middle class mummy's boys.
Just needs someone to paint 'MURDERERS' on it and the whole thing will be whitewashed in no time.

Has anyone took a bag bigger than A4 in yet? Working in town next Wednesday till around 6ish so id prefer not having to rush home and rush back just to drop off my laptop.

I don't think I've seen anyone take a bag pack or laptop bag into a football stadium before? Seems a bit daft. They have metal detectors and bag searchers on the way in so you'd be better taking it home imo.

Thanks mate took it into goodison a few times before but they seem a lot more strict BMD. I'd usually leave it in the office but working away externally the next day so have to take it with me.

Said this once and i'll say it again, their fans are more obsessed with every other team than their own. They are the worst winners and the worst losers. Their first thought isn't about celebrating their own success, it's how they can taunt any other fanbase. It's no wonder they are the most despised team in world football.
Agree wholeheartedly with all of that apart from the last sentence. There's a reason they and Man U claim to have the biggest global fanbases (and wanted extra TV money from international deals as a result). Look at the recent racism row, since the guy was arrested their paid PR machine has been working overtime to bury the story - even fans who sit near the idiot say he's a loon. Within the EPL, a lot of "neutrals" see them as a quasi 2nd team (makes me sick), hoping that if they can't win it, then the RS do. Whereas the average neutral's view of us is the turd that won't flush. Hopefully the new ownership and new stadium marks the beginning of a turnaround for us - but it's a long road ahead.
