Just off the phone to my dad, 77 he is and has followed Everton everywhere for 70 of those years. He was just heading off to meet his mate Paddy from the NI supporters club at Moorfields and walk down. So excited he couldn't sleep last night, said he feels like a giddy kid, can't eat, can't sit still, stomach doing somersaults and all that jazz.
Imagine there's thousands of blues feeling the exact same way right now.

Today is a very special day in all our lives, to those lucky enough to be there, do us all proud, make that place bounce and sing like no other.

Exciting stuff today. First day to start working out the new matchday routine. Went the 2nd test event, which was great, but a bit flat and strange.

Hoping the full house crowd is good as friendlies can be a bit quiet sometimes.

Just note that it was absolutely chocka at the second test event. Unless you're desperate to go there you'll be walking past The Invisible Wind Factory, Ten Streets Social and Murphy's Distillery all on the same row if you want easier alternatives with the kids.

Today's a friendly it's hard to get too excited by it - I don't expect more than a few "Everton's" from the crowd.

Stomach is in knots going today. Don't know why because I went to the 2nd test event. It could be that I'm taking my ex who I haven't seen in two years, but who knows.

Anyone got a travel plan that doesn’t include walking from Moorfields?

Not going to this one but still not scoped it out before the Brighton game. Be sound walking for now but I’m thinking about October when it starts getting Baltic down there, my dad and my lad will not want to be walking ‘30 minutes’ .

Wouldnt worry getting there. Getting away and home is the nightmare!
