I can't wait to get to the Dixie but if that is indeed what's on offer in the concourses then I won't spend much more than I did in the UGS, though I did like the Toffee doughnuts at the test events and I hope they are still available. I know those drinks are probably popular and I hope that the club make plenty of money from it but personally I can't see me using the brand new app to pre-order some wifebeater. Each to their own etc etc

What would have got you to drink in there?

Dixie's is in the village where drinks are included btw.

Going back to the food and drink again: tomorrow they're expecting people to be in that stadium and its vicinity from about 2pm to 7pm.

If some people cant afford the club's stuff or wont pay the prices they charge that's a problem.

There's something nasty about this rule. Eventually it'll come unstuck once the novelty of the stadium has worn off and there'll be confrontation.

The optics on this are terrible.

If people were going through the gates with a bag of food from Tesco or somewhere I could understand it. But taking even small amounts of food and water/soft drink and being stopped is disgraceful. I wouldn't like to be a steward if this club is struggling on the pitch while charging top dollar to fans to attend and then being forced to search fans for food and drink.

Oh behave mate. It’s no different than the cinema or a concert. And if you have bought a ticket to go the game then your well aware you will have to take a few quid for a drink or a pack of crisps. You’re just finding fault in absolutely everything.

Great to see places opening , It’s the walk from dale street I’m looking for . 10/15 walk , grab a beer then get the ground .

Got a ticket for my 3 year old tomorrow so I will be going the plaza earlyish with him. When the season starts it will be pints in town where you can get a good Guinness at a half decent price.

Yeah with the exception of black stock same here , I think the pig and whistle is so keen it’s even doing take out pints but feel there is a bit close to where we’re setting off from

It’s not great but we paid £5 for a warm carling in a concourse about 2 feet across , it’s what you pay at sporting events .

It’s not perfect but not outrageous, also if they want people drinking in the ground post game they might want consider the price .
