Copies of the exact same statues would seem like a bit of a half arsed way of doing it for the new stadium to be honest. If we're going to have statues (which i'm not hugely bothered about anyway) i'd rather see new pieces commissioned rather than just making a replica of something we've already got.Rightly or wrongly, many have bemoaned the lack of Everton identity in and around the new stadium. Dixie Dean and the Holy Trinity are this club's immortals (there may be a few others who could merit a place, but they certainly do).... they don't just represent a single era, they represent our History and identity, and will be worthy of their place regardless of whatever the future brings. As regards duplication of statues, I don't see any problem. The art form lends itself to it, which is why many great statues have been reproduced multiple times for different locations. The thing is, how many clubs have 2 stadiums which merit it? The new ones could perhaps be of a different scale to befit the different setting. Failing that, commission entirely new ones. Of course the danger then, is that the new depictions might not match the quality or capture the essence of their subject(s), in the way those already created have (there have been some absolute howlers on that score). Hence the reason why a basic recast is the normal and safest approach, and indeed a further celebration of the sculptor's original work.
And there it is... digital season ticket via apple or Google wallet will allow access to stadium only. No screenshots of the ST.
NFC tech.
But you can apply for physical card via link in email

Nope... looks like its a dynamic barcode that alters on a regular basis to prevent just that...

Yeah I really like that perspective of the game. Big difference for us from the TB, and suppose everybody, is we'll be in the same bowl as everybody else now so be interesting to see how that affects the atmosphere. That's were I've gone for too. Always said that when I grew up I'd go sit on the sides.... I'm only 60, so this is the first phase of that. Sat behind the goal, same row as my season tkt for the first trial event. Moved over to my season tkt seats for the last 15 mins.... thought it was a much better view tbh.
Sunderland have a hospitality suite named 'The Founders' after the teachers who formed them. Chambers, Mahon, Cuff etc are rarely mentioned and should be in my opinion. The person who started this epic ride.
