A strange world we live in where people walk round with their phone in their hand filming stuff that isn't even funny.he was scum mate, doing that to a lad who’s working they’re to serve him food
the lads face i was proper upset that night when i seen it
Change or die!The fans of the other clubs with American owners have said the same for a while, trying to keep season tickets down for the day fans.
As soon as I seen hipster food for sale at the game I knew things were changing.
We failed to adapt when the money started rolling into the game in the 90`s, and look how far we`ve been left behind.Change or die!
We could romanticise about the past, but if we don’t modernise at the same pace or faster than the rest of the league then the benefits of that shiny new stadium and the advantage it could afford us will be lost.
It’s not just a sign of American owner it’s simply how the world works, adapt to change or get left behind.
So why do it in a test event?Have they treated fans like that at the test events?
Also, it’s test events, actual procedures around it may be different on real match days when there’s 50k people to manage.
….no, I think the analogy with them is a bit of a stretch.
They have lost their local identity because they are global media darlings. They play in the City, they don’t belong in the City. The problem with that model is it’s fickle because it’s reliant on tourists and tourists don’t visit if the club is not fighting for titles or at the business end of cup competitions.
I find it hard to see us on that mantle. We have new owners, a new stadium and I’m sure prices will increase as will catering etc but I don’t see our fanbase changing, just look at the ST waiting list. It’ll be different going forward, expect change but I don’t see the soul of the club changing anytime soon.
Do younthink toourists wont want to see the inside this stadium?
The demographics of our support is bound to change - it's just a matter of ho quickly that happens and that depends on the trajectory of ticket prices.
Success means a PL stadium. Tourists tick that stuff off. Espanyol and Barca will both get their match tourist too.…depends on success, we need to be the best team in the City first.
I would love that to be the case but in the meantime we need to be cementing our future support from within the local Merseyside/North West area.…depends on success, we need to be the best team in the City first.

If it is so difficult to get a ticket for Anfield then we need to focus on getting impressionable young potential supporters to BMD. Take a kid to the match for the first time and they love it.Once they see it, and as the first ground they went to,then they will be converts.
Just remember what all our first memories were of seeing the Goodison Park pitch for the first time and there was no way back from that moment.
PS. I still want us to be the best team in the city
This is where Evertonian Uncles and Aunties need to be exerting their influence…absolutely but we tend to be born blue or red here, maybe some of their youngsters will see the light.
Was the call centre Samaritans? Was chatting to a fella in a call centre this week. Had a scouse accent. So obviously I asked him if he was a blue or a red. He was a blue so I didn't hang up.
Said he could see BMD from his office window.
Was the call centre Samaritans?
I know you Spurs are having a tough time at the minute.
Then again I can't imagine speaking to a Toffee Samaritan would be much help.
