New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Bearing in mind we're going to sell out the season ticket offering without breaking sweat, and that even more tickets will be available on a match-by-match basis, I'm not sure where your pessimism comes from. I haven't heard anybody say they've been priced out of buying a season ticket yet - in fact, they probably could have charged 25% more and it would still be among the cheaper tickets in the Premier League, especially for a massive club like us. The fans in the new stadium will be exactly the same as the ones in Goodison, only there'll be a few more tourists on top. Win win really.
Not next season. But that sort of value wont be there for long.

BTW the prices for food are a scandal and the club needs to be hammered unmercifully for it.

Ok I've seen all your loaded sausage rolls and giant blue doughnuts, but I'm a man of refinement. Is it just the bog-standard disgusting coffee on sale or have they got some decent stuff available? It's a deal-breaker for me. I bet Spurs have barristas in micro-beanies serving flat-whites and skinny lattes.

I had a black coffee when I got in and I don't know if it was the elation but it tasted rather nice. Better than the tar at Goodison anyway!

Mixed emotions about last night.

On the one hand: what an effin stadium. Looks every bit what we were promised. My pride in Everton is off the charts - that we've seen this pulled off in a period when we were on our knees (I know they might be related issues like) is incredible. That we've emerged to make an audacious balls on the table statement like this just underlines what a massive organisation Everton still is not only in English but global football.

On the other hand: there's sadness. Not about leaving Goodison so much, but in an early glimpse into how the fanbase will change over time. This is a massive commercial shake up and it'll leave behind thousands and thousands of Everton fans who simply wont get near the place on anything like a regular basis. Whole social strata's will be literally left outside looking in. This is headed in one direction - especially if we get success - Everton fans convergence with Liverpool fans who have been for a decade and a half calling visits to the pub to watch Liverpool "going the game".

The spectacle has arrived.

Can never get a ticket at present so for lots of people it will hopefully be an improvement.

Main story on BBC football.

If you had a ticket for event 1, you didn't get one for event 2, just the way they worked it with the ballot

I got a spare for last night from a friend who was too unwell to go, but I do have a ticket on my own account for test 2.

Event 3 should be all STHs and members and a general sale I think
Yes i knew those on test event 1 would not go in 2.

But from someone within the club, there was not a big demand for the 1st test event initially. That's why i think they may offer some to go number 2.

Turn it in people went for a nose at the stadium. Most lads I know were gone after half an hour. It was an under 18 friendly match
That’s great mate but my opinion is that’s really poor form. Why even bother going? That’s just my opinion. Go, enjoy it, have a nose, watch the game, go home. My opinion.
