New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

My only concern on that is the number of people who've gone for the south stand who usually were top balc bullens or park end.

I'm sure most of them will be up for it, but I know a few oldies who don't know what they're getting themselves into with the safe standing option.
This is sort of what I was thinking. We have gone South Upper due to my son's age, whereas he's been stood in the Street End since he's been going.

Will those around us sit? Will they sing like he/we are used to? Will there be the banter? He has asked these questions in a round about way and...

... I don't know the answer, sadly. As I said, though, it will sort itself out eventually.

I’ve been wondering the same mate. We’ve opted to sit in the South Upper due to my dad’s age, after being in the Lower Gwladys for nearly 20 years. It’s going to be a big change but I’m hoping it’ll still have some of that Street End feel to it. I suppose it all depends on who has opted to sit there.
Hoping it’s not too many moaning arl arses from the Park End.

I think there will be teething problems. Maybe the club should have said when tickets went on sale the south stand will be more loud than other areas.

Let's wait and see.

I think it’ll take some time for the layout of the ground to settle and for each stand to develop its own “identity” and “personality”

I think people knew it was going to be the vibrant or more emotional end, and if they didn't, well their head has been in the sand.

For me, the change between South Lower and Upper may take some time, because the Lower Gwladys has been, in the mainstay, standing for years.

But, not all could go in the new lower (I couldn't take my son) or may want the option to sit at some point, so they've gone with the upper.

It's here where I think there'll be a potential mismatch, because there'll be those who expect/want to stand and those who will be expecting to sit.
