New Everton Stadium Discussion

Well, my point here is not to contradict that a few thousand fans will stay on for a long time post match, it's that the vast majority wont and that will cause a lot of delay getting out of the stadium site altogether.

The only way to avoid that is to take out more or all of the wall and leave the gate turrets as a legacy to the site's former use.
Is there anything at all about the stadium that you like?

In all honesty this whole issue over crowds entering and exiting the site will have been finely modelled to the highest standards by experts before it even went to planning to be minutely examined once again by more experts in the field before being approved .
All eventualities will have been modelled up to and including any emergencies that may arise that require mass evacuation of the site.
Openings in the wall will have tested and scrutinised during this intensive procedure.
So you don’t need to worry your pretty head about anything, just turn up have a few beers and watch the match.
Leave the worrying to professionals who know what their talking about,

lol lol lol

Are you familiar with the famous Everton FC Destination Kirkby access / egress issues?

The club are the same now as then: "we'll sort that out later, lad".

Absolutely. Moshiri has funds and probably could get more if required through creative payouts of companies he is involved with. This is obviously plan B as he would have preferred to dilute his shareholding in us and use their money to finish the stadium but either way downing tools isn't a sensible option when your already up to your nuts.

My personal belief is that he would be pleasantly surprised that people are willing to sit down and discuss Everton at 1 billion and if he can get the stadium built with a loan attached to the club perhaps recovering his investment might be possible.
If he thinks he's getting a billion for Everton, he's more deluded than Kenwright is thinking our board is revered.

Yeah but would these so called professionals have factored in the pile of decapitated corpses underneath the wind turbine half a kilometre away caused by travelling fans getting excited whilst watching drones & then leaping enthusiastically high into the tip of the spinning blade to an untimely but evidently a clear & obvious tragedy of a death just waiting to happen whilst the last remaining fans outside will run away screaming in a delirious state, not really in control of themselves & run head first, full pelt into the wall?? Did they think of that?? Did they???

I remember the planning for destination Kirkby.. saying 5000 fans would travel to and from the ground via pedal bikes. Be rowing boats for the new ground when someone mentions traffic issues.

Classic.

Everton's transport consultants, Steer Davies Gleave, that was.

...and they offered the chance of 100 bike stands to park the 1000+ bikes they expected.

Incredible. An utter fiasco.
