Just listened to Cllr. Joe Hanson talking in support of our stadium project. As a Town Planner it annoys me that a man talking bollocks is allowed to sit in judgement on such matters. However as an Evertonian, thank goodness they allow people with absolutely no clue to sit in judgement of professionals.

Some of the opposition was just hilarious. The Green Party are satisfied that Everton have provided alternative transport opportunities in trains and busses (you know like every city has) but they would like to see good footpaths to the stadium which once again are called pavements and every city has them.

Probs a lot. Friends of mine used to live in a penthouse in Highbury's main stand or wtf was that called. Really weird experience visiting them, I mean the marble halls were there and stuff. I have scored in an Everton jersey @ Highbury... (was me wife though).
