What does that say other than a search is on for investment?

It says a major financial firm is considered for arranging half a billion to fund a serious construction project.

Do you think they'd ruin their credibility for a pipe dream?

Not sure why we’d want to rebuild Goodison? We’ve been cursed at that ground since the 90s. A clean fresh slate is what is required in all aspects of the club including the stadium. There’s too much failure etched into that place.

Lifting the championship of England 9 times. Every great everton team loving the place.

An almost unique stadium/atmosphere.

Hosting some of the worlds greatest ever players in World Cup finals etc etc.

Do these youngsters learn any history before denigrating things/people.

Yep 100% happening. This is and always has been USM's end game - no chance it doesnt happen and we stay put in a run down GP.

Goodison is not doable because there's no will to make it happen. That's because the owners (Gregg/Kenwright/Green/Moshiri) know they'll only make massive proifit from getting a new build stadium for them in another location.

You can’t simultaneously hold the positions that BMD is somehow a fantasy that’ll bankrupt the club and yet it will also provide the owners with a huge profit, and expect this to be treated as anything more than contrary nonsense, can you?

Those are not contrary positions. The finances of the club and the finances of the people running the club are not one and the same. Large companies go under every year, and yet upper management at those companies often pockets millions while driving the ship aground.

Even Moshiri, whose funds are legitimately at risk, stands to potentially turn a profit from the new stadium despite what it will do to the club's debt load. If Kroenke sells his Arsenal stake today, he turns an enormous profit on his investment. Ask an Arsenal fan how that's been working out for them, in terms of squad reinvestment.
