New Everton Stadium Discussion

Hang on, so reading between the lines, are people now claiming that the funding will be coming from LCC / government departments, in the form of a secured loan?? If so where the hell are LCC going to find that sort of money?! Not saying it can't happen (it could work in LCC's favour if the repayment terms are generous in their favour over the term), but surely we're talking hundreds of millions for the whole development. Kopite. Heads. Floor.
They get lower rates for borrowing. We pay them at a slightly higher rate. Simple. Saves millions our end, makes council millions too

Right, looking at how this geared, no chances this ground is going to be geared 90% on finance. So let's guess 75% is loanded how we finding the other £160 Million?

Supposedly £350m.

like i said, we will not own the ground, all Moshiri has done is put is in a position where the council will lend us money, the profits will be going into LCC's arse pocket and also Moshiris, leaving our fully paid for house to move into rented accommodation, no wonder Rom n Ross wont sign.

It's not rent though, it's basically a long term mortgage which will I would guess be covered year on year by a stadium sponsor.

Presumably LCC would attract capital at a cheaper rate than EFC could and will charge EFC a premium over and above the debt repayment terms they face, thus providing LCC with 'a profit' over the course of the loan?
