In the last ten seasons only 3 have been significantly better than the 48 points we achieved last year, with another two 1pt ahead, and one 1pt behind. All this against a background of turmoil and unrest, and a squad stripped of its best players to pay off debt.

Some people only see what they want to see and then complain about it.
We have had an easy start look at Decembers fixtures...... oldest team fielded in the Prem ....

The "Dithering Dave" shout doesn't really hold any water when you take into account the owner and chairman he had above him.

The reason Moyes was so cautious with transfers was because he knew every summer he'd have been working with a pittance as far as transfers went and he had to be sure he got it absolutely spot on.

Am sure if we'd have had decent owner he'd have took a chance more on certain players but he had to cut his cloth accordingly, but also let's not forget some of the players he brought to the club for absolute peanuts.
I was chatting to some wham fans on the train last season and they had the same dithering Dave gripes that we had. A dullard doesnt change his cardigan, to bludgeon a common metaphor to suit my needs.

Agree on last season but he cant hide from the performances from this season for me. Think is fair to complain this season about him has not been good enough, whatever troubles off the pitch he paid very well here

Genuine question, what did Brands achieve in terms of say player sales? He gets credit for Branthwaite. Didn’t he waste a lot of money on other dross, actually when we had money? I genuinely can’t recall

The problem with the tenure of Brands, is that it`s never really been clear who was actually buying the players whilst he was here.

Undoubtedly the idiot Moshiri and his bent agent mate, bought players that he had no input with ( Tosun for starters ) and then there`s the likes of Koeman, who went on that mad spending spree of buying loads of No 10`s and no strikers.

The sheer poverty of imagination and ambition from those who would want Moyes back is incredible.

Imagine wanting rid of Dyche because of his footballing poverty of ambition only to replace with Moyes.

Of all of the football managers in all of the world, some Evertonians want to swim in the same, fetid incestuous gene pool. No wonder this club has been deformed over the last 35 years.

He's a superior manager to some of the names that have been touted as good choices - see, Thomas Frank.

Moyes is levels above Dyche for a start.

Everton prospective owner Dan Friedkin is unlikely to receive the necessary approval from the Leadenhall case before the new year as he looks to complete his takeover at Goodison Park.

That is the view of finance expert Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider the case is likely to be the key issue holding up the deal rather than any potential concerns over the fit and proper tests.

Football Insider are the worst source going, unless they're talking about signings in League 1. They've zero insight into TFG.

They take quotes from people who are desperate for a bit of relevance, slap on a negative headline, and watch people get angry on social media about it.

See, I've done their job for them.
