I've just had another thought about this too, Macca has always tried his best to be equally distant from both clubs. I remember an interview where he implied if push came to shove in a derby cup final he would probably plump for Everton on the basis his dad supported us but he quickly followed that up with but 'I know Kenny Dalglish well' so 'I shout for both'.

Maybe TFG asked him to appear but he was unwilling to be part of what was an obvious 'Everton fest' for Everton fans and the club?

I think she’s alright, one thing I don’t get is she is doing work for the club , fanzone etc yet she is supposed to be a journalist for the BBC. Should there not be a conflict of interest there?
