The difference being that a lot of other people genuinely don’t understand how football works. You do and you are still going on like it’s 2003. That’s why you’re dishonest. Here is is from the executive chairman himself. PSR is an issue short term because the last owner was a clown. In the medium to long term it won’t be an issue. Pipe down.

They said 'limiting factor' not a non-negotiable object.

We'll see where we are at the end of the window, but we need players in now to tackle January games too...

We needed them in 1st January, but you know, its been a strange window, new owners, PSR issues gone, our manager bottled it, so a less than ideal situation, but at this late stage, we just need some bodies in before the window slams shut, thats got to be a gimme and I cant see Moyes sitting on his hands for the next 11 days, hes gonna be out there, working hard, unlike, well, you know.

The PSR threshold is very much non-negotiable though, isn’t it? If it is considered a limiting factor then that means we have a very definite - and by the sounds of it small - amount we know we can spend before we cross it again.

Deals take longer to make when you’re that limited in your ability to spend, although at least we don’t have to go begging for zero down payments this time round.

Moyes doesn't do the hard yards on transfers now. Look to Billy McKinlay for that.

But we're basically of the same thinking here you and I: "Get your hands in your pockets, you Texans".

I have no idea anymore about PSR and I dont think too many others do either.

It's a completely arbitrary system as far as I can tell.

May as well spend on good players and have them there for any points deductions...not that we'd get them anymore with American owners. The whole PSR stuff as it applied to us was 100% political.

Forrest were deducted points , doesn’t seem to bother them

So the first act from our new owners, who have swooped in to save us from a financially irresponsible idiot, should be to wantonly overspend and incur a points penalty next season?

Bookmarked just in case they’re stupid enough to do it, and you waltz in here calling them charlatans because they caused a points deduction.

he was clearly happy with us bordering going into financial oblivion

and a manager relegating us

Exactly mate. That's because they know they wont be charged again because everyone knows it's bunkum now.

These Texans are hiding behind an excuse.
Not hiding behind anything.

They haven't said a word, just doing business like proper business men do.

You will see.

But I suspect whatever they do, won't be enough.

What would make you happy Dave?
