The only managers job i,d give bryan robson is managing the pub crawl after a game. They should give it to Bryan Robson. He knows how to handle big egos (Ravanelli, Emerson etc.), knows the England setup well and would work close with Stuart Pearce in bringing in the young talent within the U21s.
The players would have respect for him for his achievements as a player and to a lesser degree a manager.
And no I'm not crazy.

I used to want an english manager but not anymore i want the best man available and if he,s foreign so be it.Giving the job to Robson would be no different then giving it to Hoddle, Keegan or McClaren. They have not won anything! And they all failed!
I used to think after Sven we needed an English manager, now I'm not so sure. But were in a catch 22. Trying to reduce foreign influence to improve the English team, but without a foreign coach I can't see how we can improve the English team.
What the FA really needs to do is to have a look at themselves and bring in some new blood with fresh ideas. The most important trait for the new manager is to have a gameplan A and B and stick to it. Pick the players that will perform the system best and don't care about the media hyping a player etc.Giving the job to Robson would be no different then giving it to Hoddle, Keegan or McClaren. They have not won anything! And they all failed!
