What amazes me is the amount of lads on here who see our accounts on a regular basis , sit on on board meetings and know the inner workings of the club
They then come on here using made up names and spill the beans.
I’m sure the club are pulling their hair out over the breach of confidence.

Before Moshiri bought us, before the TV cash hike, our highest earner was on around 80k. Now we have at least 5 (was 6 but Sandro has now been temporarily sorted) that are above 100k, a few of those are on or around the 150 mark. We used to pay around 3 million a year for our mangers it is now 6 million. Forgetting the true cost of our managers/back room staff over the last few years is going to be greater than 30 million alone.

We have a massive squad, everyone knows this. Take Walcotts salary alone, 150k a week, 7.5 million a year. It doesn't take long to see where the majority of the extra TV money goes when you think about it.

But you're saying it's sell to buy + the tv deal. Chelsea and Liverpool have took in huge fees for players and haven't spent as much as we have. No club has invested more than Everton outside the two Manchester clubs.

Or the RS owners ?

This is for the period before we bought Rooney, Sigurdsson, Klaasson, Sandro, Walcott etc. We have to wait till next Jan and even then Walcott's/Tosun and whatever else we buy won't be in the released accounting year. It's fairly simple economics to see our wages have massively increased over the last few years and the TV deal drives this.

Wage bill grew to £106 million in the last accounts.

I agree we have spent big on top of sales but the absolute biggest issue is the players we bought have not performed.

With the exception of Martina name me one player that we would have said he not good enough for Everton
Some haven’t worked out but that’s just tough and we need to move on

No we are run the exact opposite of West Ham.
We are keeping the players that want to stay , selling the ones that want to leave ,
Spending incoming fees and a lot more on new players ( wether they are the right ones is immaterial to the argument )
Playing big wages to attract the right players ( would WHU pay Walcott ,Rooney and Siggy 150k )
We are building OUR stadium which we will eventually own after we pay off the loan (WHU will never own theirs )
So no totally different than WHU and if you can’t see that then that’s your lookout
On a lighter note , we don’t rely on a boost in dildo sales over Christmas to fund Jan purchase
