Player Valuation: £80m
our most saleable asset(on a par with fellaini, but i think we'd get more due to the english factor)
yes,he is incredible...up there with the best left backs in the world, but can we live without him? do we rely on him too much? what could we do with the money from his sale? how important is full back in relation to other positions?
im not saying this should be done just suggesting the unthinkable and the possible outcomes

Mate we won one game without him against a very poor Fulham side, it doesn't mean we don't need him ffs

Why would we sign our best player? Who would replace him distin? he is like 34 ffs, neville is like a thousands years old. Close thread.

im not suggesting that at all, im comparing our most saleable assets and what we could do with the money, personally.. i would sacrifice baines before fellaini

Two games and a good draw.

4-0 Sunderland
4-0 Fulham
4-4 Man United

In all those games we played more varied football than we do when Baines is on the pitch. When he plays it unfortunately turns into a game of how little we can attack down the right and the centre.

Then what we need to do is get the other players to be a bit more confident playing down the middle and on the right, not sell baines for being too good.
