I'm a Raptors fan, due to my relatives in Toronto, i got to a match against the LA Clippers a couple of years back, which they won. Everytime I catch a stream of them now they [Poor language removed] lose.

When I watched them they had a guy called Rafer Alston playing who was class, but apparently he turned out to be a scally, went to jail etc?

Its hard to appreciate the sport on TV as the guys are so big they make the court look tiny, when infact, It is rather large. It amazes me how they can stop, compose themselves and get a shot off from 15 yards away in a split second and the accuracy is amazing.

My favourite player has to be LeBron, absolutely awesome stuff.

Anyone else follow the NBA?

Occasionally I follow it. Rafer Alston went to Miami (either before or after Toronto I don't know) and last season he went to Houston. He had he best season last year, but now I think he's hurt or struggling.

Rafer Alston did the original And1 mix tape, he name was Skip to my Lou I think. You could try to youtube it. His tricks are supposed to better than anyones.

Alston is OK but Calderon and TJ Ford (who the Raptors shouldn't of traded) are better point guards. Toronto can't play D, thats why they suck.

Favorite player: probably Tony Parker

used to be a rockets fan - in the days of cassell, and olajuhuan.

long since sacked basketball off, it suffers the american disease :- advertising. (worst cancer ever!)

Cant stand it nowadays.

I lost the love for it when Sir Charles and co. hung up their enormous shoes.

Rafer Alston still plays for us in Houston. A few years back a lot of the fans wanted us to look at another point guard but he's really stepped it up for us and is now an intergral part of the team.

I haven't been to an NBA game in ages but will catch it on the TV from time to time.

Bosh for the Raptors is solid.

Houston start in 10 minutes, gona try n find a stream for it, see how the little guy is doin. I only ever saw the raptors once so far but at the time Alston was the stand out player.

Is Ming any good? he looks really clumsy

He is.

Hard to defend and a good low post defender. When players make a run at the bucket, they know he'll be waiting for them.

Also an excellent free throw shooter.

I'd like to see him be a little more aggressive though. When you're 7'6, you need to be able to throw your weight around a bit more.

Here's a recap from last night's game:
