I don’t know why but he has had bans from the previous 2 seasons player threads.

Hatred is such an odd thing to have for someone that you’ve never met and who has no direct impact on your day to day life.

Truly baffling behaviour isn't it. There's been plenty of players I've not rated but whilst they're at the club I've always wanted them to do well and prove my judgement wrong. I get the feeling even if Patterson came in and played well Davek would still love nothing more than villifying him for something he's supposedly done wrong rather than being happy that he's playing well and helping the team

Yep, him and his old mate the fat waiter in cahoots to rinse us. And some, including the poster most vocally against Patterson in this thread were happy to support that disgusting slob who was shamefully our manager.

I suspect that was the case. I think the report when Everton offered £5M for Patterson was that Gerrard laughed and said something like "They're having a laugh aren't they?!".

Be interesting if he's made next rangers manager if he looks at Patterson's availability and then goes for someone else.

I could actually see Gerrard making a loan deal bid for him.

…if he moved now it would inevitably be to a much lower level so he’d be taking a massive hit in wages. Can’t blame him for not doing that, he’ll find somewhere to play but until then he’ll take the big bucks.

….no idea how much he’s getting but would you swap circa £30k per week for £5k per week?

I’d imagine he’ll go on loan somewhere and we subsidise his salary until his contract is up.
