It’s my big problem with Patterson, when he plays we concede lots of crosses from his flank. I’m sure the coaching staff have the stats but I’m nervous when he starts.

No one can stop a winger crossing the ball all the time. What was happening with Young, was Mitoma was getting “behind” him. Do you understand the difference?

It’s not even the style for me tbh, but he would offer much more going forward.

I don’t think Patterson is any different defensively than Coleman or young, and he would improve this if he was getting minutes and playing games, in a settled side with tarks and branthwaite.
