I said before the first game that Garner will be RB very soon. It's gotta be, Patterson handicaps us as he's a liability.

In the first two games Garner has been caught out massively not tracking runners. Why’s he suddenly going to be amazing at RB?

Yes. Happens on the other side. Both full-backs super narrow to stop teams playing through us. It’s a percentages game, I don’t like it.

Do you mean the CM that is playing there. Yes I have played plenty of footy and managed (sunday league ) so I can see Patterson form at the moment is suspect

How on earth Dyche thinks he shouldn't slot in there I have no idea.

He plays for his country at RB and he's played RWB for Everton there. And he's been a success for both.

It's one of the easiest decisions this manager has to make.

At this point @davek is right though fella.

Patterson is not delivering. If his attacking contributions were outweighing his defensive side then I would accept it but this isn’t the case.

Some players you know fairly quickly if they are going to be up for it and others, like Patterson, you know aren't. He has been a liability since day 1 with maybe a decent performance sprinkled in here and there. Time is up for him in my opinion. The Premier League, especially for a club like Everton who are struggling to survive, is not the league to learn the game. He's getting eaten alive every time he is out on the pitch. And the worst part to all of this? You don't have anyone worth a darn to replace him. That's on the board, Thelwell, and recruitment team.
