Was told that he had been with Everton since the age of 8 and has links with north London, Walthamstow area.
Not sure how true this is but if right makes sense to head for the 'ammers

Strange one for me tbh. There's a group of highly rated lads from last years successful U18 team that haven't featured with the U23s so far this season. Holland is one of them along with Michael Donohue. Both are tricky winger types and we have no similar type player in the U23 set up.

For me, Donohue is the better of the pair, but Holland is the one that has featured quite regularly in the England set up for his age group. I've never been overly impressed on the few occasions I've seen him.

With the number of youth loans going through at the moment, I thought he would be given an opportunity by Unsy between now and the end of the season when his contract expires.

One thing I will say is that he is the calibre of player (i.e youth international) that, in previous years, we would have issued another contract to. But we have had an unusually large number of quality players coming out of the academy over the last few years and I suppose there's only so many we can accommodate.

Plus, as a club, we do appear to be moving away from tricky winger type players.

Yes I'm disappointed that Michael Donohue hasn't been given more games this season, he has always looked a player
for the future when I have seen him, I must have seen Holland but honestly can't place him, so I can't say whether he is
good bad or indifferent, but wish him good luck with his future career.

Same age group I think. Donohue got you off your seat more and I like that in a player. Not sure why hes dropped off the radar. Might be injured but you normally hear rumours to that effect but its been totally quiet.

Yeah last season Donahue was the more eye catching. Holland always looked the more disciplined of the two , tracking back , linking with the full back, sticking to his wing. You could see this at England u17 level where I suspect the system they played being similar to ours and the discipline he learnt at our Academy stood him in good stead.
There hasn't been much chance for a number of young attackers this season at U23s level. Dyson, DCL, Niasse have mainly been the striker, and the attacking midfielders have largely been Dowell and Charsley with varying others including Henen, Duffus, Grant , Evans . So not much opportunity for Donohue or Holland. We usually give a few of them a 1 year extension at this age come June, so it'll be interesting to see who we keep.

I'd never heard of him, searched him on Twitter. First couple of hits were about him moving to West Ham, next few were gay porn clips of someone with the same name (unless it was him).

Took me bloody hours to watch all of them, not a footy in sight.
