You say Scottish like it's a bad thing. If the rest of the team were as committed as he was I don't think we'd be in the mess we are.
I am not criticizing any people or race, making the point that as a football nation when it comes to talent, they are mediocre. Sure he can be as committed as he likes, I won't be critical of that, but not good enough for a starting 11 spot in a top 5 team.

Maybe you're right. What have Scottish forwards ever done for this club?!

He's scored 1 in 3 this season, a higher ratio than Romelu "Guarantees Goals" Lukaku, and has frequently been our hardest working player on the pitch.

If his name was Naisinho and he was Brazilian, this conversation wouldn't be happening. He's been a valuable asset for us.

So how does this explain how he was good enough for a starting position in a top 5 team last season and this season it's generally accepted that he's playing even better than the last one but isn't supposedly good enough for a top 5 team now?

I mean I personnaly think he'd get in both the Southampton and Spurs teams the way their managers like them to press and work hard and put the collective above the star names.

Even if you think his hard work earns him a place in the team he has not established a partnership with Lukaku. As Naismith is slower than a snail he rarely runs beyond him and does not pose an attacking threat. Barkley does have something different to offer as an acm.

Soton have Mani who has speed to burn and there is no way that Naismith would get a look in. One of the reasons we piss around with the ball is that we lack pace and Naismith just makes it worse.

I like Naismith, and ive been signing his praises for the past few months. But Barkley is our future, that Barkley-Lukaku partnership is the one we NEED to be building our team around as those two can take us places.
Naismith offers a lot, but for me, he only comes on if Ross is stinking the place out. We seen it against Villa, Ross and Rom understand each others games and can get the best out of each other.

True.

I like Naismith, i think what isn't helping him in the general way the team is playing, its hard to like anyone right now.

Also because Roberto is messing around with Barkleys position i think some are saying its because of Naismith, but that is the fault of the manager not the player. He also has goals in him, decent player IMO

Ridiculous comment to make about Scotland and Scottish footballers that and I'm English.

I knew that the "Naismith is boss" comments were just lies to hide the "Naismith is turbogash" embarrassment.

Always knew

I just say it how I see it lad.

No plots here.

Besic is the only talented player in the entire squad, we should just sell everybody and build a new team around the Bosnian Zidane.
