Decided that my PT Cruiser cabrio 2.4 auto was just damned expensive to run. I bought a Transit connect to do courier work but, despite my new name here, have since started working as a delivery driver for an electrical distributor. So, selling the van, sold the car and now have a 54 reg PT Cruiser diesel saloon that I would have bought in the first place had I not had my head turned by that damnededly beautiful topless model!

It might not look it but that's a real happy me there! Have we done the 'What car do you drive?' thing yet?

Ugly car that lad.

It needs a Peco and some stripes.

I'll grant you it's a Marmite car but I LOVE Marmite. Going to replace most of the chrome with better quality and add a belt line (chrome strip around the middle) chrome filler cap, chrome exhaust sleeve with a dump valve turbo whistler inside it to make it sound more powerful, blue LED side lights and red LED stop lights, blue and chrome pedal covers and a blue/chrome/leather gear knob for starters.

Just wait until you see it with the NSNO and GOT stickers on it! (y)

Now your talking.

why would you buy a broken car? the steering wheel is on the wrong side... :D

The thing that I couldn't understand about my convertible was that they took all the trouble to put the steering wheel and pedals on the right yet left the lock on the near side door!

That's not the one I've bought, it's the one I've p/x'd for the diesel. Just rang the dealer to see when I'll be getting the car and he told me it needed new discs all round to get through the MOT, so he's putting new ones on at no cost to me. Good of him because he offered to put it through the test rather than sell it to me with only six months to run (y)

Thought I'd add a few pics of the bits I've ordered to smarten it up..
